How high is the snow on your roof in Lake Tahoe?

After the recent storms that hit Lake Tahoe, snow is building up on roofs throughout the region. This photo was sent in by Carol Nageotte. Her neighbor Bonnie Turner took the photo of Ron Nageotte and Tom Wion on Carol's roof.
They live on the top of Kingsbury Grade on the South Shore.
Winter hike to see Tuesday's Cave Rock traffic

CAVE ROCK, Nev. - Ryan Curry hiked up to the top of Cave Rock during the Lake Tahoe traffic jam on Tuesday night and took this photo at 7:30 p.m. He wanted to show his business partner, Russ Irwin, just how the traffic looked. Irwin had been unable to get back to Lake Tahoe due to the traffic on US-50 and SR-207.
The blue-lighted tree seen in the photo is on US50 at the turn up into Cave Rock Estates. Heavenly Valley and Gun Barrel Run are in the distant background of the photo.

November 4, 2021 (All day) These two photos captured rainbows on the morning of November 4, 2021 at 7:45 a.m. after a storm rolled through South Lake Tahoe. This breathtaking sight was captured over the lake near the Lake Tahoe Resort by Diamond. This photo was taken with an iPhone, but captures the essence of the beauty after a storm and has the American Flag perfectly positioned under the rainbow.
