Mothers’ Day Makeover at Valhalla Grand Hall

There will be live music, a fashion show by Sidestreet Boutique, appetizers from Harrah’s & Harveys Catering, wine tasting provided by Crystal Basin Cellars & BellaGrace Vineyards, and a cash bar set up by Raising the Bar Beverage Catering.

Winners will be picked July 1 by Edgwood Tahoe. The Grand Prize winner will receive two player spots in the Tuesday Celeb-Am on July 17, a Player Gift Bag for both players and accommodations at a South Lake Tahoe resort and casino property, Monday, July 16 and Tuesday, July 17.

Event organizers Kalia Knutson, Jeff Sterns and Jeff Cowen aimed to combine three goals into an innovative event: raise funds for the Friends of the Library, promote local businesses during the shoulder season and highlight South Tahoe’s local history to promote pride in the community.
National Trails Day

Volunteers of all skill levels and physical abilities are welcome and encouraged to participate-no prior experience necessary. Volunteers will receive free lunch and are invited to the post-workday celebration at Explore Tahoe including free food and drink.
