The online reservations system manages reservations for 14 federal agencies, including the USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit (LTBMU). This move will centralize LTBMU camping reservations on one convenient site. The Camp Richardson site will go live at 7 a.m. on Nov. 1.

The Nevada Day Parade returns this Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024! There will be a hot air balloon launch at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. The military fly-over will signal the start of the parade, which begins at William Street and N. Carson Street and ends four hours later at the intersection of Stewart Street and S. Carson Street. The parade features marching bands, floats, equestrian groups, historical displays, Burning Man art cars, and much more.
The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. The Grand Marshall this year is country singer Lacy J. Dalton.

It was a holiday atmosphere as fifteen top-tier breweries showcased their finest brews, while top celebrated village eateries, including Fire & Ice, Gunbarrel Tavern, The Loft, Kalanis, California Burger, Azul Latin Kitchen, along with the El Dorado County Sheriffs Office brought the heat to the village’s biggest culinary battle of the year.
