City of South Lake Tahoe Special Budget Meeting

The South Lake Tahoe City Council will hold a Special Budget Meeting to pass the Budget for Fiscal Year 2011-2012. This is a follow up to the Special Budget Meeting of September 15, in which the budget was presented but vote by council was postponed until October. The city is functioning on an interim budget until October 31, 2011.
The city is facing a budget shortfall and seeking to lay off workers as a remedy.
