The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and a delegation from the Lake Tahoe Aquatic Invasive Species Program presented to a consortium of public agencies, non-profits and interest group at Lake George, New York last month.
TRPA’s Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator Ted Thayer, Sudeep Chandra, Professor of Limnology from University Nevada Reno, and Marion Wittmann, Postdoctoral Research Associate from the University of Notre Dame and UC Davis, traveled to Lake George to speak about the Lake Tahoe Aquatic Invasive Species Program and ongoing research.

For those who want to experience the big bold musical production of 42nd Street, the curtain rises Friday, December 9, Saturday, December 10, and Saturday, December 17 at 7pm; and on Sunday, December 11 and 18 at 2pm. Tree damages vehicle

Event Date:
December 1, 2011 (All day) Tree top snaps in the wind and destroyed a vehicle. K & K Services removed the tree off the vehicle and removed the damaged tree. Two trees were also blown over on Highway 50 accross from Rojo's and landed in the road right in front of a tree service company. K & K services stopped and cleaned it up and hauled away all the debri as well some other hazardous trees that were getting ready to fall onto the Highway. When contacted about the cost to remove the trees on city property the owner replied "Merry Christmas."
