Boys and Girls Club Lake Tahoe Golf Classic set for October

The entire $195 entry fee goes directly to the Boys & Girls Club to continue its work with local children. Last year the BGCLT raised over $35,000 with this year’s goal to break $45,000.

Motorcycle and large truck collide near Kirkwood

According to police scanner traffic, the motorcyclist was pinned underneath the truck, possibly a big rig. A CALSTAR air ambulance was dispatched to the accident scene. A ground ambulance was, at last report at around 2:40 p.m, to transport the downed cyclist to a zone cleared for CALSTAR to land.
