Warren Miller Entertainment brings the film "Like There's No Tomorrow" to MontBleu theater, Friday and Saturday, November 18-19 at 7:30. Tickets are $16. according to Warren Miller's website, "Like There's No Tomorrow" is your annual reminder that winter is on its way and, with it, an adrenaline-fueled dance with gravity. “We welcome winter with everything we've got,” explains the film’s director and producer, Max Bervy.

70's iconic band Foghat will be performing Saturday, November 12 at 7:30PM at Harrah's South Shore Room. Tickets are $33.
In 1971, wanting to give a more Rock ‘n Roll flavor to the blues-boogie music they were playing with "Savoy", Dave & Roger enlisted lead/slide guitarist Rod Price & bassist Tony Stevens, formed a new band, "Foghat", and the rest is part of Rock and Roll history.

Moving Forward after The IHOP Tragedy

Saturday morning, workers could be seen inside and outside of the restaurant on South Carson Street - putting in new windows. An IHOP spokesperson told KOLO 8 News Now that the restaurant is scheduled to reopen before the holidays, however she would not give an exact date. Burn pile catches fire on Upper Kingsbury
Submitted by Editor on Fri, 10/21/2011 - 10:52amFire crews have responded this morning to upper Kingsbury Grade where a small fire broke out near the Tahoe Rim Trail across from Andrea Court.
The fire apparently started from a smoldering burn pile. It spread to about 10 feet by 10 feet in size and was reported at around 11:35. Multiple fire units from Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District responded and have knocked it down.
