To the citizens of El Dorado County,
The year 2011 is wrapped up, and so is my first year as your Sheriff. This year end report is to provide you, the community we serve, with information outlining some of the achievements by the men and women that make up your Sheriff’s Office. I believe it is my obligation to keep you, as the taxpayers of El Dorado County, informed as to the direction and accomplishments of this office.

Comedian, TV star and singer Wayne Brady will have the audience in stitches with his inaugural MontBleu stand-up performance, Feb. 18. Doors open at 8 p.m.; show starts at 9 p.m. Brady is known for his improvisational talents from the show “Who’s Line is it Anyway,” his daytime talk show “The Wayne Brady Show” and “Let’s Make a Deal.” Go here for tickets.

Sublime with Rome are the remaining members of the iconic ’90s Southern California ska, rock and punk band Sublime. Joined by singer-guitarist Rome Ramirez, the re-grouped band will bring memorable riffs, beats and lyrics to the MontBleu Theater, March 11. The roots of the new band took shape when two original members teamed with Ramirez to bring back the iconic sound of early ’90s Sublime frontman, the late Bradley Nowell.
