Why I support Tamara Wallace for County Supervisor

More Unites Us Than Divides Us

Our country is almost more divided than at any other time in history; with the worst aspect of that being neither side is able to talk to each other.

Meeting Agendas, Legislation and Plans more and more represent Partisan goals while ignoring Community needs.

Very few of our elected leaders are working for us; the vast majority are only concerned with their own reelection prospects and catering to those providing the funding.

When I was a candidate for South Lake Tahoe City Council in the last election cycle; then-Mayor Tami Wallace contacted me and offered to meet and give me pointers on the basics of running for office and the challenges of our City.

Now she may not have been the one who decided this but she reminded me more than once during our conversation that South Lake Tahoe City Council was “Non-Partisan”. I thought she was just being polite and positive in directing the conversation but as I got more involved and learned how Our City Council works, I saw this was their methods and not just their slogan with Councilwoman Wallace always avoiding partisan agendas.

My own political views and observations are that we all want the same things from our government and legislators, we just view different paths to getting there.

Councilwoman Wallace has deep family roots in this town and I have always felt she has this town’s (her family) best interest behind all her decisions.

In such a divided political environment, it is more important than ever that we finally have someone doing the best they can for us!
