SPARKS, NV, Sept. 2021 - TruckHouseTM is showing the BCT, its state-of-the-art expedition vehicle, for the first time locally this weekend at Adventure Van Expo Tahoe in Homewood, CA, September 18-19.

TruckHouse’s COO and co-founder, Nico Monforte, is a UNR graduate and North Lake Tahoe native. Nico draws from his US National Ski Team experience as well as his BS and MBA from the University Nevada, Reno to efficiently operate this small, but growing, company. TruckHouse is proud to employ a talented crew of craftsmen from the Reno/Tahoe area.

TruckHouse is the 2019 winner of the University of Nevada Reno’s Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition and is taking the backcountry vehicle industry by storm with it’s cutting-edge construction methods, thoughtful design, and functional floor plan. The BCT is well-equipped inside and out to withstand the roughest trails and harshest weather, while serving as a mobile base camp for those who want to live comfortably off-the-grid.

“We are excited to spend the weekend at Homewood and share the prototype rig with the local community”, explains TruckHouse CEO and co-founder, Matt Linder. “We’ve been working hard the last few years and are thrilled to give everyone a chance to see what we’ve been building!”

For the TruckHouse team, delivering a high quality product on a compact platform is essential to carving out their space in the expedition vehicle market. The BCT fills the gap between camper vans and military-style off-road vehicles, and comes standard with marine grade finishes and appliances.

"We selected the Toyota Tacoma for its modest size, maneuverability, and proven longevity. We then built a carbon fiber reinforced composite house to match everything we love about the truck and its utility. Key structural components of the chassis are reinforced to make a vehicle rugged enough for true backcountry adventure." says COO and co-founder, Nicolo Monforte. “We started by breaking down what the perfect camping experience was to us, and from there we built the most capable and livable vehicle we could imagine.”

TruckHouse has finished their prototype and is a few weeks from delivering their first customer BCT. The BCT starts at $325,000 and can be optioned up with various different packages.
