They now have a new name, Catalyst Community, a name that emphasizes their dynamic commitment to community and change.
Catalyst Community will continue to offer the same valuable services:
• Child Care Subsidy Program
• Resource & Referral Services
• Child and Adult Care Food Program
• Parent and Provider Education Services
• Healthy Bottom Line Diaper Distribution Program
Baby wipes, diapers and formula available in South Lake Tahoe

We look forward partnering together on this issue to make sure family needs are met. During the pandemic we have all seen the impact of shortages in personal care supplies and we are grateful for a community that cares about each other. If you are in need of diapering supplies you can turn to:
Lake Tahoe Accommodations: Baby wipes can be donated or picked up daily between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at 2048 Dunlap Drive in South Lake Tahoe.
Choices for Children has free children's items for South Lake Tahoe families in need
Submitted by paula on Wed, 07/22/2020 - 10:38amSOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Choices for Children has donations and resources available for South Lake Tahoe families.
The nonprofit agency located at 1029 Takela Drive, suite 2 is letting locals know about what is available at this time. They have children's clothing, toys and books, weekly summer food bags from Bread & Broth 4 Kids, and monthly diapers and wipes through their Healthy Bottom Line program.
They also currently have a surplus of Similac Neosure Formula.
Early Christmas presents for several groups in South Lake Tahoe
Submitted by paula on Thu, 12/05/2019 - 1:13amSOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The El Dorado Community Foundation played Santa Wednesday night, handing out checks for 29 different projects in the South Lake Tahoe area that help both children, education and adults.
Over $50,000 was distributed to the following groups (with funded projects listed):
Community
Kiwanis Community Organization, Inc. - Coats for Kids
Juvenile Service Council of El Dorado County - Life Skills/Job Readiness program
Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless - Coordinated Entry

Successful Mother's Day Diaper Drive
Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 06/18/2019 - 2:17pmChoices for Children would like to thank the community for their amazing support of the 2019 Healthy Bottom Line Mother's Day Diaper Drive. Throughout the month of May, donation boxes that had been decorated by our local Boys and Girls Club members were located throughout the community. We received thousands of diapers that will be distributed to our community's youngest and most vulnerable residents.

We received generous donations from community businesses, child care providers, and agencies. All donations will go directly to helping our community's youngest and most vulnerable residents stay clean, dry and healthy by ensuring they have the diapering supplies that they need.
