Let's start dreaming of a BRIGHT Christmas! Get out your jingle bells, your silver bells, your boughs of holly, and your LIGHTS! The Tahoe Chamber in launching the Light Up the South Shore Holiday Light Contest to spark some holiday cheer, showcase our creative community, and illuminate the town.

An Old-Fashioned Holiday Open House at Dangberg Historic Park

December 9, 2017 (All day) An old-fashioned “Holiday Open House” returns to Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park Saturday, December 9 and 16 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm both days.
The exhibit includes toys from the 1870s through the 1890s that were played with by Fred Dangberg, Jr., and his siblings, as well as numerous toys enjoyed by Fred’s five children and one grandson from the 1900s through the 1940s.

Girl Scouts looking for locations to sell their decorations

A local Girl Scout troop is looking for a spot to sell their handmade holiday decorations in order to raise money to attend International Camporee in 2015.
They took part in the parade Saturday and then set up a booth at the end of the route, selling their handmade items. They'd appreciate more opportunities to do the same over the next 10 days. If you have a store, tree lot or having a holiday activity/event, the scouts would love to join in and sell their wares.
