December 16, 2015 - 6:00pm Join the Friends of the Library as we present local author Jennifer Quashnick and her newest Mountaingirl Mystery- "Sierra Nevada River of Lies". Jennifer will share this exciting tale of a murder, a missing professor and a submerged car, all fictitiously taking place in the Sierras. Come support this South Tahoe local writer and her second novel. Book sale and signing to follow. Free and open to all.

Jeremy Evans hired as new LTCC women’s head soccer coach

After taking the South Tahoe High Varsity Girls Soccer team to back-to-back NIAA state championships, coach Jeremy Evans has left the program to become the new Lake Tahoe Community College women's head soccer coach.
LTCC found themselves without a women's coach after first year Coyote coach Christian DeLeon recently left the program to become the new women's head coach at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village.
Todd Borg to Launch his 11th Book

July 31, 2013 - 6:30pm The Friends of the Library are proud to present,Todd Borg, author of the award-winning Owen McKenna Tahoe Murder Mystery Thrillers. Todd will discuss his newest book, Tahoe Chase, and his writing methods with intrigue and humor. He will have all of his books available for purchase and signing.
