December 7, 2019 - 9:00am Carson Tahoe Care Center invites community members to grab their cameras and join residents and guests for pictures with Santa on Saturday, December 7 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Capture the holiday spirit with personalized Santa photos, complete with a Winter Wonderland backdrop and holiday refreshments.
This is a free event, and no appointment is needed. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own devices to take pictures, such as a camera or cell phone.

A holiday tradition on the South Shore for the past ten years returns to help children and adults of all ages ring in the holiday season. The Festival of Trees and Lights moves to a new home this year at Harrah's Lake Tahoe starting on Friday, December 6 and going through Sunday, December 8.
The seasonal celebration features events and entertainment including the Senior Stroll, Family Night, the Gala, and Teddy Bear Brunch.

STATELINE, Nev. - There is something for everyone, young and old, at the 10th annual Festival of Trees and Lights this weekend at MontBleu Resort. The convention center at the Stateline casino has been turned into a winter wonderland that is highlighted by the star of the show, the festive Christmas trees.
The winter celebration includes the Senior Stroll, Teddy Bear Brunch, Family Night, the Gala and much more from Friday, Dec. 7 through Sunday, Dec. 9.
Public viewing: Friday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Get your dog's photo with Santa at Animal Coalition of Tahoe events

It's time again for the Animal Coalition of Tahoe's (ACT) annual photo nights where your dog can get photographed with Santa, just in time for those holiday cards.
For two nights, December 5 and 11, ACT will have professional photographer Jenny Scales set up at Tahoe Best Friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. They are located near the recycling center at 2197 Ruth Avenue in South Lake Tahoe.
The cost is a $10 donation to ACT's spay and neutering program for dogs and cats in South Lake Tahoe. For more information, contact them at 530.285.1970 or by email at info@TahoeAnimals.org.
Magical display of themed Christmas trees at South Lake Tahoe holiday event
Submitted by paula on Thu, 11/30/2017 - 10:23pmThe grand hall at MontBleu Casino Resort has been turned into a holiday paradise, a winter wonderland with the main attraction being the specialty Christmas trees.
On Thursday, local celebrities and media strolled by each of the designer trees, selecting those that won top honors of Most Elegant, Best Theme, Most Creative and Best of Show.
The excellent work on each made it almost impossible to come up with a winner, but four were chosen after much deliberation. Each tree will be paired with a special prize package during a live auction at Saturday's Gala.

Each year, children of all ages stop by the Barton Foundation's Festival of Trees and Lights to ring in the holidays during one of the special events including Senior Stroll, Teddy Bear Brunch and the Gala.
From November 30 through December 3, the convention center at MontBleu Resort will transformed into a holiday paradise featuring beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and decorations and a gift shop with famous Barton cheese balls and unique presents.

Judging of the decorated trees also took place. A team of local media, chamber members and educators viewed the trees and judged them on criteria including elegance, theme and creativity.
The Best of Show and Best Interpretation of Theme awards went to "Woodland Queen."

Ring in the holiday spirit at Barton Health’s eighth annual Festival of Trees & Lights. The winter celebration features events and entertainment starts Thursday, December 1 and continues through Sunday, December 4 at MontBleu Resort on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe.
“The Festival of Trees & Lights provides a warm and family-friendly atmosphere to inspire people to get into the spirit of holiday giving,” says Kindle Craig, the director of the Barton Foundation. “All the money raised goes back into the community and supports health and wellness programs.”

Lights, trees, action! Lake Tahoe community members and visitors are invited to celebrate the holiday season at the seventh annual Festival of Trees and Lights.
The family-friendly festival runs from December 2 through December 6 at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa. This year, all proceeds will support prevention programs and trauma services for Barton Hospital’s Level III Trauma Center.

Vote for your favorite tree in the Festival's "People's Choice Award" contest. Settle down to watch the entertainment, bid in the silent auction, enter the raffle, get a family photo with Santa, and take the kids to Teddy Bear Hospital. Kids can stop by the Gingerbread Junction, where they can write a letter to Santa and drop it in the giant mailbox for express delivery to the North Pole.
