April 29, 2019 (All day) Stand up comedy and a chance to be part of a Game Show! A night of laughs, prizes, and more benefits a great organization! All proceeds go to LEAD with Horses programs for at-risk youth.
It will be held at the Laugh Factory inside the Silver Legacy in Reno on Monday, April 29, 2019, 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:30)

Interim Director named for Tahoe Youth & Family Services

He has served the communities of South Lake Tahoe, Douglas County and Alpine County in this position since June 10, 2014.
Winners of TRPA Lake Spirit Awards announced

This year’s award winners do everything from helping protect Lake Tahoe communities from wildfire and aquatic invasive species to promoting alternative transportation and sustainable lifestyles.
124 local kids now part of TYFS Girl's Project

Tahoe Youth & Family Services started “The Girl’s Project” in 2010 to partner with girls and help them become more confident and influential women later in life. The Girl’s Project has now expanded to Tahoe Valley Elementary, Sierra House Elementary, Bijou Elementary and South Tahoe Middle School.
Barton Foundation hands out $35,500, still has $14,500 left to give

For the seventh year, the Barton Foundation gave away money raised through their annual fundraising efforts which include the annual Festival of Lights.
