Jobe SUP 2 the People paddleboard demo tour at North Shore

An international paddleboard company, Jobe Sports, will be at Hidden Beach in Incline Village on Saturday, August 13 from noon to 2:00 p.m. They are offering a free paddleboarding event where rigid and inflatable paddleboards will be available for everyone to test out.

They'll also be giving away sponsored swag and gifts as well.

The Jobe Sports month-long tour started in San Diego in July and has made it to Lake Tahoe.

Jamie Anderson in Dubai to promote city's action sports

XDubai, the city’s ambassador for action sports, has released a video series featuring professional surfer Sally Fitzgibbons and Olympic gold snowboarder Jamie Anderson paddle boarding, desert hiking, and engaging in wind tunnel inflight in Dubai.

Titled “Lifestyle Sessions,” the videos are meant to highlight Dubai’s outdoor and extreme sporting activities.

XDubai is the group behind videos of “Jetmen” Yves Rossy and Vince Reffet.
Anderson, who’s participated and won 12 medals, described Dubai as a “Disneyland for athletes.”

Ruffwear Doggone Van Tour in South Lake Tahoe

From September 5 – 15th the Ruffwear pack will be on the road visiting fans and retailers in California and Nevada as well as stopping at the Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon in Del Mar Beach to benefit the Helen Woodward Animal Center.

Adventure Sports Week Lake Tahoe to Feature Paddle Board Events

The 2nd Annual Adventure Sports Week Tahoe, scheduled for Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 24, will host two stand up paddle boarding events in addition to its other outdoor sporting competitions, clinics taught by professionals, live musical concerts and family-friendly activities.
