With less than 40 days remaining until the November general election, U.S. House candidate Jessica Morse will be hosting town hall meetings for 4th district residents, including a stop in South Lake Tahoe on Sunday, October 7.
California's 4th District stretches from the eastern Sacramento suburbs to the Sierra foothills, including Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park. Morse is running against incumbent Republican Tom McClintock who, at this time, has no scheduled stops in South Lake Tahoe.

Lake Tahoe, Calif. - A candidate's town hall meeting and two networking mixers have been planned by the Tahoe Regional Young Professionals (TRYP).
A South Shore networking mixer will take place on Wednesday, May 9 at The Loft from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will include one free drink and complementary appetizers for attendees. The cost of the mixer is free for members and only $10 for non-members.

The Tahoe Regional Young Professionals (TRYP) will be hosting the next installment in the Tahoe Town Hall series on August 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Tahoe Beach Retreat Conference Center at 3411 Lake Tahoe Blvd. The event, Tahoe Town Hall: Addressing Homelessness, is free to the public, and will feature a panel of experts to discuss the homelessness issue in South Lake Tahoe.

What does recreational cannabis mean for the Lake Tahoe community? A chance to discuss the passage of California's Proposition 64 and Nevada's Question 2 will be held on Wednesday, April 19 at the Tahoe Beach Retreat Conference Center from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This will be an installment of the Tahoe Regional Young Professionals (TRYP) Town Hall Series that focuses on bringing the community together for civic discussions.

The Tahoe Regional Young Professionals are holding a Tahoe Town Hall on Wednesday, October 19 at the Tahoe Beach Retreat at 6:00 p.m. The public is invited to hear the candidates for South Lake Tahoe City Council in a question and answer format with a moderator.
Find out what do the candidates believe in, how they plan to serve and improve the community, and what their stance is on controversial issues.
The audience will be able to ask questions after the moderator is finished with their segment. This opportunity to hear the candidates will help guide decisions on November 8.

The inaugural Tahoe Town Hall will be hosted by the Tahoe Regional Young Professionals (TRYP) on Wednesday, April 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lake Tahoe Community College Student Center.
This free community event will cover local ordinances that impact residents and TRYP invites all to attend to learn the facts and openly answer questions concerning issues in our community and its progress.
Everyone will have an opportunity to ask questions, and they can even be submitted here prior to the event.
