Snow day: LTUSD, LTCC, Douglas County at the lake, TTUSD, Incline VIllage on digital day

Lake Tahoe Unified School District (South Lake Tahoe)
Truckee Tahoe Unified School District (North Lake Tahoe and Truckee)
Douglas County Schools at Lake Tahoe (Whittell High and Zephyr Cove Elementary)
Lake Tahoe Community College
Pollock Pines Elementary School District
Incline Village schools will have a digital school day as the campuses are closed.
92 local charities benefit from Vail Resort's Epic Promise grants

TTUSD and Auerbach Engineering team up on water quality project
Submitted by paula on Sun, 05/21/2017 - 2:55pmConstruction season has started in the Tahoe basin and the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District will utilize the warm weather and their student’s summer exit to complete projects that were approved under Measures E and U in 2014.
Auerbach Engineering Corporation was selected through a competitive bid process to provide Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) services for the Tahoe Lake Elementary reconstruction and the Rideout/Tahoe Lake Elementary temporary relocation projects.
Tahoe Truckee Unified School District receives largest rebate ever awarded by Liberty Utilities
Submitted by paula on Wed, 02/08/2017 - 11:21amAlmost $20,000 was recently awarded to the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (TTUSD) for improvements made in 2016 to increase energy efficiency at two school facilities.
Even though the check Liberty Utilities gave to TTUSD was for $19,638.42, the district can expect more than $15,700 in annual energy bill savings.
The rebate represented the largest incentive payment provided to any commercial customer by Liberty Utilities since it began operations in the Lake Tahoe and surrounding region.

Lake Tahoe Unified Schools - Open and on regular schedule
Douglas County Schools - Open and on regular schedule
Tahoe Truckee Unified School District - All open except for Donner Trail Elementary
and Donner Summit. Snow day for Donner Trail due to I-80 closure and heavy snow; no bus transportation to and from Donner Summit students. All other schools are open and on a regular schedule.
Incline Village Schools - Open and on a regular schedule.
