Founded in 1881, the AAUW has been the voice heard at the national level promoting education equity for girls and women.
The AAUW today seeks to continue to unite graduates of educational institutions and be a powerful advocate and visible leader in equity and education through research, philanthropy, and measurable change in critical areas impacting the lives of women and girls.
Teen Writers Can Learn How to Write a Novel in November

The South Lake Tahoe Library is hosting a Teen Writing Group during the month of November in honor of National Novel Writing Month.
There will be authors to meet and resources available to help young writers get inspired and get started during the free workshop.
The group will meet at the library on the first 4 Fridays in November: 11/1, 11/8, 11/15 and 11/22 at 3 pm. For additional information contact the library at 530-573-3185. The library is located at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.
