Wine Tasting and Art Auction feature Thomas Kinkade Prints

The El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce Education Council will hold its annual Wine Tasting/Art Auction on Friday, May 4, 2012, at 6 p.m. where ten Thomas Kinkade framed prints, along with artwork from other area artists, will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
David Girard Vineyard will be the site where the Wine Tasting/Art Auction will take place, and the Wine Tasting will feature fine David Girard Vineyard wines.
Tickets are $10 each. Many artists who have participated in the past will be participating again. This is a great opportunity to not only raise money for the Al Aguiar Memorial Scholarship to support the continuing education of El Dorado County residents, but the Wine Tasting/Art Auction also gives excellent exposure to local El Dorado County artists.

There will be door prizes donated by local businesses and individuals. The proceeds will be used for the Al Aguiar Memorial Scholarship and the Folsom Lake College, El Dorado Center Scholarships.
The Al Aguiar Memorial Scholarship enables employers in El Dorado County to assist their employees to increase their education and knowledge by allowing the employee to be trained while working, thus benefiting the employer as well.
The Folsom Lake College, El Dorado Center Scholarships are for re-entry students and first-time students.
