Sunday Morning With a Local Author at Camp Richardson

South Lake Tahoe JoAnn Conner will be at Camp Richardson on March 11 at 11:00 a.m. for "Sunday Morning With a Local Author."
Conner, who has written two books will be giving an author talk and book signing.
The first, Heartwood, is historical fiction centered in 1867 Bridgeport, CA, but also adds historical bits about Carson City, Genoa, and Virginia City. Information about the everyday life is historically accurate.
The second book, The Mountain, is based in modern day South Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas. This fictional story highlights issues surrounding the theft of Native American artifacts.
Conner will discuss the writing process, publishing, and read excerpts from her books. She will sign books, available for purchase in the General Store, after the author talk.
The Camp Richardson General Store Café is located at 1900 Jameson Beach Road.
