Chamber offers "Knock Your Socks Off" customer service training

Looking to improve your business's customer service? Want to rise above the norm?

The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce (Tahoe Chamber), in partnership with the City of South Lake Tahoe, is offering a Knock-Your-Socks-Off Customer Service workshop on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The goal of the workshop is for business owners, managers and their staff to discover creative approaches for delivering service that will wow customers and turn them into raving fans. Workshop topics include: making customers feel important (and why you need to), how to avoid and prevent some of the most common customer interaction blunders, how to manage stressful situations more successfully and effective techniques for building customer loyalty and earning five star reviews.

"Research shows that eighty percent of consumers will pay more for a better customer experience and seventy percent will return," said Tahoe Chamber CEO B Gorman, "so offering memorable customer service is the backbone of a successful business, especially in today’s world as social media has made it so easy to share both good and bad experiences for all the world to read!"

The cost of the workshop is $20 for Tahoe Chamber members and $40 for non-members. The workshop is free for businesses participating in the Tahoe Tactical Team or Small Business Development Center coaching programs, which are both offered through the chamber in partnership with the City of South Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Business Council.

The workshop will be held at the Tahoe Chamber conference room located at 169 Hwy. 50, Stateline, NV. For more detailed information or to register for the event, go to www.tahoechamber.org.
