“Spring Into Summer” at South Lake Tahoe Recreation and Swim Complex

The South Lake Tahoe Recreation Division is gearing up for another summer season full of adventure, learning, fun and great memories. The Recreation staff is geared up to host the second annual “Spring Into Summer” Kick- Off Party on June 7, 2014 from 10am to 2pm. The event is designed to highlight summer programs, introduce Recreation Instructors and provide tours of the Recreation and Swim Complex in a fun and festive environment.

STAR Camp leaders will be on hand to meet prospective campers and parents as well as provide details about the many adventures campers will experience this summer such as ropes course, waterskiing and wakeboarding, BMX, hiking, skateboarding, laser tag, Wild Island and more.

Water Safety Instructors will meet and greet parents and provide information on Learn to Swim classes for ages 1 to 101! A variety of fun aquatics classes are available including water exercise, Yo-Pi-Chi, and Introduction to Improved Swim Technique for Adults. Tahoe Swim Club coaches will provide information on youth competitive swimming and training programs.

A variety of dance, martial arts, Zumba, and Jazzercise instructors will join the festivities and provide demonstrations throughout the day as well as introductory offers for first time participants.
