Live at Lakeview returns for sixth season in South Lake Tahoe

Summer is almost here and its time to start planning your Thursday evenings in South Lake Tahoe with a stop at Live at Lakeview, the summer concert series on the beach.

Starting June 22 and every Thursday until August 31, the free concerts will be at Lakeview Commons at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and Highway 50 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Toyota and the City of South Lake Tahoe are presenting the series with On Course Events.

To start things off is Live at Lakeview favorite, the Scott Pemberton Band. This Portland based Timber Rocker has become infamous for his unique guitar playing
style and high-energy performances including those at High Sierra Music Festival. Mescalito, a South Lake Tahoe based rock/soul/jam band will open up the show.

“We’re so excited to share the lineup for the upcoming season of Live at Lakeview. It’s been incredible to see the caliber and variety of entertainment we’re bringing in continue to grow over the past 6 years!” states Leslie Schultz of On Course Events. “It’s going to be an incredible summer, filled with great live music for the entire family!”

Besides music there is art on the beach, along with a variety of local merchants and delicious food options plus amphitheater style seating and breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from the beer garden. Proceeds from the beer garden will continue to support South Tahoe BMX Association.

New this season, Live at Lakeview + Bakpocket Products have teamed up to offer a hammock lounge for attendees to relax in.

Parking is limited around the venue; however, a complimentary bike valet service is offered every week, in loving memory of Rocky Heether. Biking (with proper lighting) and carpooling is strongly encouraged. Additional parking is available at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center (1601 Rufus Allen Blvd.)
