Letter: Help Save Local Radio fundraiser to be held in Lake Tahoe

Our locally owned and operated KRLT 93-9 FM and KOWL 1490 AM are at risk of going off the air. The stations have been on the air for decades supporting us with good vibes like Howie's Morning Rush, The Angel of Tahoe Contest, and Sierra House Weather Kids. Now is the time to support them.

Make Tahoe Records is popping up at Scott Forrest Fine Art Studio, located at 2572 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA, on Saturday, June 27, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a KRLT fundraiser, featuring an exhibit of “Freshly Groomed Vinyl,” a curated collection of freshies on vinyl including new releases from alternative artists and reissues of classics. Make Tahoe Records is MakeTahoe.com's online record store and pop-up exhibit.

$10 from the sale of any record priced over $20 will be donated to the KRLT 93-9 “The Lake” Go Fund Me effort. Our friends at Keynote Used Records and Books will also be donating 10% from in-store music sales to the fundraiser that day. If you prefer to shop online for the fundraiser, go to MakeTahoeRecords.com.
