Victims identified in fatal Kingsbury Grade crash

Carson City residents have been identified as the victim's in Tuesday night's fatal collision on Kingsbury Grade.
On July 4 at 9:26 p.m., Nevada Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene of a head-on collision on SR207/Kingsbury about two miles up from Foothill Road. Upon arrival they found a crash involving a 2013 Ford F150 and 2012 Scion XB.
The NHP preliminary investigation shows the driver of the Scion was driving eastbound and allowed his vehicle to cross over the double yellow lines into the path of the Ford, causing a head-on collision.
The occupants of the Scion, driver Thomas William Guard, 52, and front seat passenger Moriah Ann Williams, 38, both died at the scene along with a dog that was in the car.
The female driver and male passenger of the Ford were both transported by CareFlight to a Reno hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
According to the NHP, Guard was wearing a seat belt as were the two occupants of the truck.
