Submitted by paula on Wed, 07/20/2016 - 8:51pm
For the third year, celebrities playing in the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe had breakfast with the Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club. This year, former major league pitchers Mark Mulder and Derek Lowe joined the group at the Hard Rock Cafe for two hours of candid discussions, fun and community.
Over on hole 17 Wednesday, former Tahoe Douglas Rotary President Todd Poth won the Korbel Media Spray Off.
Thursday's Celebrity-Am tournament starts at 6:50 a.m. over at Edgewood. Celebrities will be paired with groups of amateurs who paid, or were sponsored, for the privilege of golfing in the tournament. Over 50 of the celebrities in town for the Friday-Sunday tournament will be playing. See the attached pairings sheet.
At 1:00 p.m., Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors will be in the media room at Edgewood for an interview. There will be live coverage on the American Century Facebook page.
