Mestizo Beat is a collective of musicians based out of Los Angeles who compose and perform music influenced by the early 1970’s era of funk, soul, afro-beat, and afro-Cuban genre.

One can expect an explosive dance party of heavy-hitting rhythms that unify the audience and band into one pulse of love. Their sound creates a freight train of upbeat rhythms and groove that transcends their listeners to a state of exhilaration and rejoice.

Originally hailing from the San Francisco Mission, Boca do Rio is a Brazilian-American samba-funk explosion. Born of the mixing of waters of Brazil and the San Francisco Bay, Boca do Rio has created psychedelic samba – music that developed through the rhythm of living and working between the Americas. They're a multi-layered electro-funk party boat with a sound that is fluid and edgy, adaptable and free.
