Two hospitalized after RV crashes and burns on Kingsbury Grade

9:30 p.m. update: According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the RV had mechanical failure, its brakes failed on the downhill lake side of Kingsbury Grade. The vehicle then crashed and caught fire. Both the driver and passenger were taken to Barton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

8:00 p.m. update: Kingsbury Grade is open. There are no other details available at this time other than the motorhome is a total loss after fire consumed it. Flames moved into nearby grass but was quickly extinguished.
Condition of the driver and their passenger is unknown at this time.

Update: The driver of a motorhome and their passenger have been transported to the hospital after Sunday afternoon's crash on SR207. The motorhome was the only vehicle involved and it was completely destroyed by fire.

An injury crash has closed SR 207 Kingsbury Grade, and to compound the issue, a motorhome has caught on fire in the vicinity.
