Open positions on City of South Lake Tahoe boards and commissions

For those wanting to learn more about how the City of South Lake Tahoe works while at the same time giving back to their community, there is currently a few great opportunities to accomplish both.

The City Council is soliciting applications for two-year appointments to the following City Commissions/Boards:

Planning Commission

Airport Land Use Commission
Building/ADA Board of Appeals
Parks & Recreation Commission

Applications may be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office located at 1901 Airport Road, South Lake Tahoe, CA between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applications can also be downloaded from the City’s website at www.cityofslt.us -City Boards and Commissions.

Applications can be mailed, faxed or emailed to interested parties upon request to the City Clerk’s Office.

Completed applications must be returned to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m., on Friday, December 30, 2016. The City Council will be making the appointments at a regularly scheduled meeting in January 2017 (to be announced).
