Annual Keep Sierra Clean Day on Sunday

Sierra at Tahoe created "Keep Sierra Clean Day" ten years ago to help protect the environment before the winter season sets in.

Its a year round job, but this fall event gets friends and neighbors, locals and visitors together on the mountain to give it a good clean up.

Volunteers will ide the chairlift, clean the mountain and collect prizes, and sneak in a great peek at the view while at it!

There will be a free lunch and live music by Mic Smith.

This year, Sierra has partnered with Vapur Hydration to provide easy water-bottle filling stations to keep guests healthy and hydrated while eliminating single-use water bottles. You may win your very own Vapur "Anti-Bottle" for participating!

Participants should come prepared to navigate steep and sometimes rocky terrain with sturdy footwear. You're encouraged to bring work gloves, a hat to protect your noggin, sunscreen, sunglasses, a water bottle + a bucket! Trash bags will be provided in addition to gloves + buckets if needed.
