Tahoe Youth & Family Services "Night of Magic"

Tahoe Youth & Family Services (TYFS) is holding their inaugural Night of Magic on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Loft at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This unique fundraiser will start off with wine and appetizers, and attendees will be able to visit with staff to learn more about their programs. Then, starting at 9:00 p.m., the party moves into the intimate theater for a special Magic Fusion show.

Tickets are $60 per person and all proceeds will go to fund needed programs in the community that serve youth and families.

TYFS has added an interactive feature to the evening where everyone can donate and watch a moving thermometer, something attendees (and those not attending) can participate in with a code word and a text, so this is one social event you are encouraged to bring, and use, charged up smartphones! TYFS is a non-profit organization that has been serving youth and families in the South Lake Tahoe community since 1971 and the Douglas County, Nevada area since 2005. They have also been in Alpine County since 2011. They offer drug and alcohol counseling, family counseling, preventative and intervention counseling, programs for at-risk youth, mentoring, and homeless youth services.
