Tahoe Regional Young Professionals hold "Winter White" Party

Event Date:
November 22, 2014 - 6:30pm

The newest holiday tradition in South Lake Tahoe doesn't involve caroling, Rudolf or Christmas stockings. What is does involve is a group of community members enjoying the holiday season while wearing their best Winter White outfits and raising money for charity.

The Tahoe Regional Young Professionals (TRYP) are holding their annual event on November 22 at the Riva Grill. This year's beneficiary will be the Sierra Child and Family Services' Project 44 which seeks to connect caring people with vulnerable children. Through partnership with Foster Family and Adoption Service for the thriving of the community. In South Lake Tahoe, 44 homes are needed to house the local foster children so they don't have to leave the area in order to live in a safe and loving home.

The event will include silent auction items, lots of delicious food and drink, door prizes, raffle, and the coveted Winter White Costume contest! "Wet Woodies" will be available all night for $5.

Ticket sales are on line. The cost is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
