7:13 a.m. - DUI - Highway 50 - 32-YEAR OLD MALE SUSPECT STOPPED FOR INVESTIGATORY PURPOSES AND VEHICLE CODE VIOLATIONS. SUSPECT FOUND TO BE DUI AND HE WAS TURNED OVER TO CHP.

4 p.m. - Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License - Lake Tahoe Blvd - A 27-YEAR OLD MALE DRIVER WAS CITED/RELEASED FOR DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE AND NO IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICE.

Unless you're not connected to social media or watching television news in the region you have most likely heard of accusations of racism on the part of the South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) in their handling of the Dejon Smith missing person and subsequent death case. This claim and other rumors circulating around the case were discussed today with SLTPD Lt. Brian Williams who spoke to South Tahoe Now about the case

1:11 p.m. - Lake Tahoe Blvd - AN 22-YEAR-OLD MAN WAS ARRESTED FOR DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE.

1:18 p.m. - Al Tahoe Blvd - A 52-YEAR-OLD MAN WAS REPORTED MISSING. MISSING PERSON WAS ENTERED INTO THE MISSING/UNIDENTIFIED PERSON SYSTEM AND THE INCIDENT WAS DOCUMENTED.

Jackson Miller was just 18 when he was reported missing by his family in 2010 and he has not been seen by his family since. There may be renewed hope by his family after a South Lake Tahoe man reported that he saw Miller in the area in mid-July.

Soon after he went missing, Miller's car was found in the parking lot of the Golden Gate Bridge with his wallet and cell phone still inside. Authorities determined that no one jumped from the bridge the night Miller's car was found and video surveillance cameras showed him leaving his car and walking out of the parking area.

Placerville police are looking for Tyler Demars, an at risk teen who was last seen on July 12.

He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, and a tan and brown shirt. He drives a green Honda Civic with a Batman license plate frame.

Anyone with information regarding Demars whereabouts is asked to call the Placerville Police Department at (530) 642-5280.

10:45 p.m. update - Romeo has been located and returned home safe. No other details have been provided.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and Search and Rescue are searching for 11 year old Romeo Obrien who was last seen at 2 p.m. in the Gardnerville Ranchos near Patricia Court.

Romeo is 5'3" tall, has brown hair and brown eyes with a scar under his left eye. He was last seen wearing a blue DARE shirt and blue shorts.

Romeo’s last known direction is unknown. Romeo has been entered into NCIC as a missing person.

11 am update - Mr. Duran has been located and returned home.

The South Lake Tahoe Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating 24 year old Timothy Duran. He was last seen on April 22 and last heard from on April 23. Duran has no history of being a danger to anyone, but is prescribed medications for mental health purposes and can become very confused without them.

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office investigators are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 63-year-old woman. Kathy Arlana Hammond was reported as a missing person by a friend on Sunday, Feb. 17. Hammond was last seen at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15.

Hammond is reported to be mentally unstable, and has threatened suicide in the past. Hammond is reported to be driving a 4-door 1993 Subaru Legacy sedan, teal green in color, bearing California license plate 3CKF797.

Police, family members and search and rescue teams intensified their search for a missing teenager Thursday evening.
In a press conference Thursday afternoon, officials stated they had no leads on the the whereabouts of Petaluma resident Alyssa Byrne, 19, who was reported missing on Jan. 1 after she came to the area to attend SnowGlobe.

One parachutist is missing and two others were rescued this morning when the trio splashed down in the water near Pope Beach.
