Burn pile catches fire on Upper Kingsbury

Fire crews have responded this morning to upper Kingsbury Grade where a small fire broke out near the Tahoe Rim Trail across from Andrea Court.
The fire apparently started from a smoldering burn pile. It spread to about 10 feet by 10 feet in size and was reported at around 11:35. Multiple fire units from Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District responded and have knocked it down.
