Tahoe History Talks on the Beach return with Lucky and Anita Baldwin Chautauqua

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Historical Society is bringing back its popular summer speaker series, Tahoe History Talks on the Beach, on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting June 25.

The free talks are held at Lakeview Commons on the west side steps. Lakeview Commons is located at the corner of US50 and Lakeview Ave. There is plenty of free parking.

Bike or use shuttle to 28th annual Lake Tahoe Summit at Round Hill Pines

The 28th annual Lake Tahoe Summit will be held on Wednesday, August 14 at Round Hill Pines Beach Resort in Zephyr Cove, Nev. The theme of this year’s event is “Connecting Tahoe: Investing in Transit, Trails, and Technology for the Future.”

This year's host is Nevada Senator Cortez Masto.

Check-in and a booth fair featuring Lake Tahoe environmental organizations will begin at 9 a.m. The Summit program starts at 10 a.m. The booth fair will continue with food for purchase from Beach Bums Bar & Grill after the Summit concludes.

Meyers Mountain Markets every Wednesday all summer

Meyers Mountain Market is held every Wednesday at Tahoe Paradise Park from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. through September 11, 2024.

The primary goal of our market is to promote a sense of community and a healthy way of life for Meyers residents and South Lake Tahoe locals alike. Of course, Tahoe visitors are welcome to join in on the fun! We are dedicated to bringing farmers right to your table, so we stay open rain or shine. We encourage our market patrons to bike, walk, or caravan to keep that Tahoe air feeling fresh!

Extracurricular Fair for Teens being held August 14

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Tahoe Learning Haven is hosting an Extracurricular Fair for Teens on Wednesday, August 14 from 6:45 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe. There will be over 15 businesses/organizations at the fair sharing the programs they offer, taking signups, and providing scholarship applications.

South Tahoe High School & South Tahoe Middle School athletics and clubs will be represented, along with organizations that have local climbing, dancing, skiing, scouts, and more for teens.

Tahoe Arts Project sets date for annual Music on the Beach

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Tahoe Arts Project (TAP) will hold its highly anticipated Music on the Beach on Thursday, August 22 at Lakeshore Lodge in South Lake Tahoe.

Enjoy an evening on the beach, listening to local favorites Niall McGuinness, Trey Stone, and John Shipley.

There is a suggested donation of $20 and the gate opens at 6 p.m., show is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The lineup of Dancing With The Tahoe Stars will be revealed during the evening!
