Valhalla Renaissance Faire

The 20th annual Valhalla Renaissance Faire continues June 9-10, and highlights the pleasures and pageantry of an Elizabethan country fair. Costumed players will perform at Camp Richardson Resort in the shady lanes and byways, and sell their wares from market stalls filled with fine handmade crafts.
Get away from it all and lose yourself in the magic and merriment of the Renaissance. This year's Valhalla Renaissance Faire will feature four stages of continuous entertainment, action-packed shows, music, dancing, jesters, 900 costumed actors, Shakespearian vignettes, expertly staged battles, storytelling for children and adults, archery tournaments and much more.
Shop over 100 merchants selling a wide array of arts and crafts, one of a kind jewelry items, woodcrafts, artwork, ceramics, clothing, historic weapons and leather goods. And to top it all off, a hard-hitting joust.

Drawing more then 8,000 visitors, the Valhalla Renaissance Faire is a unique entertainment experience and an extraordinary outing for children. This unique festival includes real jousting sessions and full armored combat between knights, along with culinary delicacies, craft demonstrations, ancient music, dance and comedy. Patrons will participate in archery, javelin throws, and fencing. Activities for the children will include games, crafts, a petting zoo, puppet shows and storytelling.
