Opinion: Future of South Shore’s revitalization on the line
Submitted by paula on Wed, 03/09/2016 - 1:15pmThe South Shore of Lake Tahoe is divided by lines. These state, county, and city lines work well on a map, but they do not define the day-to-day reality of the people who live and work in this community. In the last decade we have seen definitive projects reshape South Shore – Heavenly Village, Lakeview Commons, Harrison Avenue Streetscape. We have seen new bike trails and the opening of a bi-state park.

Rebirth and rebranding of Reno/Sparks will affect Lake Tahoe
Submitted by paula on Sat, 08/08/2015 - 12:22pmOnce considered rundown and dirty, Reno, as well as neighboring Sparks, is experiencing a staggering rebirth. What is evident is that the Reno of today is not the Reno of 25 years ago. It isn't even the same Reno of four years ago.
