Legends of Tahoe and Disc N' Dig Festival

The Legends of Tahoe volleyball tourney and the Disc N' Dig Festival combines two great venues in one weekend at Zephyr Cove on Aug. 20-21. Registration for Saturday's Legends of Tahoe volleyball tournament begins at 9 a.m. at the Zephyr Cove Resort courts. Men and women are welcome with volleyball experience in this all-ages 4 on 4 draw. Call (530) 416-1290 for information.
Meanwhile Sunday will be the Disc N' Dig Festival where there are three ways to enter and win. You can enter a volleyball tournament, a disc golf tournament or both. (Participants must play both to content for the 'overall' title.)
In this Sunday tournament there will be 3-person teams, pre-arranged or come Sunday morning for assisted match-making. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Zephyr Cove disc golf course at hole 2 at the Gazebo. The disc golf tournament runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon, with the volleyball tourney running from 1 to 6 p.m. After party is at Sam's Place. Music by Jerel Dutton. Call (530) 416-1290.
