Bassnectar, Thievery Corporation to play New Year's festival

With headliners like Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Thievery Corporation and the Glitch Mob, SnowGlobe Music Festival - far away from the aimless wanderers on Casino Corridor - will undoubtedly be the place to be this New Year's Eve. SnowGlobe will be held on Lake Tahoe Community College's soccer field Dec. 29-31.
For three days the festival will sprawl out in the luxuriant setting of Lake Tahoe’s south shore, offering three main stages and more than 40 world-class musicians to help ring in what is sure to be an unbeatable New Year’s Eve celebration,
A limited amount of reduced-cost, “Early Bird” festival passes go on sale Friday, November 4, 2011. Following that, “Advance” 3-day passes go on sale Wednesday, November 9, 2011 (also in limited supply). Regular 3-day passes go on sale winter 2011 with the exact date to be announced.
