Holiday Parade to Benefit Christmas Cheer

The 2nd Annual Holiday Parade will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 3 pm. The parade will run a route from the top of Ski Run Blvd to the Y.

Golden Bear Events has sponsored local parades and events over the last 2 years and now presents the parade. This year the parade is sponsored by and benefits Christmas Cheer All Year. The parade will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013, and begin at 3:00 pm. It will be staged at Pioneer Trail and Ski Run,travel down the run, turn onto Hwy 50 towards the Y, and proceed to the back of the parking lot at TJ Maxx.The parade will arrive in the lot between 3:00 and 3:45 pm, where cookies and cocoa will be served.

Barrels will be available to collect new and gently used toys and non-perishable food items for Christmas Cheer. Cash and checks can also be donated at this location. Entry to the parade is free for school and scout troops; with a $50.00 entry for all others. All profit goes to Christmas Cheer.
