CANCELED - TJ Carter featured in Tahoe Arts Project country music performance

UPDATE: Due to weather and canceled flights, Tahoe Arts Project is postponing the TJ Carter concert set for this week in South Lake Tahoe. Plans are to reschedule for March. Details to follow.
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Tahoe Arts Project presents TJ Carter on Friday, January 13 at 6 p.m. in the Thunderbird Theater at Tahoe Valley Elementary School. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. There are no presale tickets and admission will be taken at the door.
TJ (Tiffany) Carter grew up in South Lake Tahoe and graduated from South Tahoe High School. She went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in music with a double emphasis in business and performance from Azusa Pacific University. She has independently written and released her own music, including the pop anthem Bold and Beautiful, and more recently, her intimate solo guitar/vocal song, I’m Alright, This latest creation has been featured on the Women of Folk and up and coming country Artists’ Spotify playlist.
TJ will be joined by her musician friends Scott Neubert, and Eamon McLoughlin, with a special appearance by local drummer James Grubbs.
Scott is well known in Nashville for his ability to play guitar, dobro, mandolin, pedal steel, and banjo, making him a versatile player able to move from instrument to instrument and a variety of musical styles. Scott has worked with many musicians, including Trace Adkins, Tanya Tucker, Larry Gaitlin, and Crystal Gayle.
Eamon is a musician based in Nashville. Primarily a fiddle player, he has toured and recorded with artists in country music, bluegrass, and Americana fields. He holds the position of Staff Fiddle player at The Grand Ole Opry, working with a diverse range of artists including Vince Gill, Nina Simone, Carly Pearce, Oak Ridge Boys, and many more.
TJ and her band will be performing for South Tahoe Middle School and South Tahoe High School students as part of the Tahoe Arts Project’s performing arts in the schools' program.
