SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The next Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) Community Conversation is scheduled for January 16 at 6 p.m. This will be an interactive discussion about Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education.
While AI has the potential to address some of the biggest challenges in education today while providing innovative teaching and learning practices, it can also pose issues in learning. Challenges could include student cheating, solving homework problems, bias in AI algorithms, privacy concerns, decreased social connection, an overreliance on technology, and equity issues.
Bring your ideas and join in the conversations.
The hour-long event will take place in the LTUSD offices at 1021 Al Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
The next LTUSD School Board meeting is this week when the trustees have a two-day professional retreat on January 12 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on January 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is invited to attend (it will not be on YouTube). For the agenda, visit HERE.
