On January 3, 2024, Michael Talmage Wyatt of South Lake Tahoe, California passed away after a valiant struggle with cancer. Born on February 27, 1957, Mike died at 66 years of age. His wife Judy, who was by his side throughout his long illness, lovingly served as his primary caretaker and steadfast source of support.
A resident of Tahoe for over 30 years and an active member of the local community, Mike will be remembered by countless clients and colleagues as an uncommonly dedicated real estate agent, particularly in the Tahoe Keys area, his specialty market. He took great pride in and fulfillment from his work. He was known as being "highly conscientious," "well-respected and trusted," "loyal," and "dependable." Within the real estate community, he was a mentor to many and always willing to provide guidance and assistance. Mike famously hosted Happy Hours for his Sotheby’s family, and his office was always open for anyone needing to talk.
Prior to real estate, Mike worked in the hospitality industry as a bartender and server while he traveled the country. As a skilled skier, he also served on the Heavenly Ski Patrol for nine years. He built many long-lasting relationships with all those he touched throughout these years.
Friends and associates will always picture Mike in his regular uniform of a polo shirt, 501 jeans, white socks, and white tennis shoes. He will be tremendously missed by all those who knew and loved him. His Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
