South Tahoe High Key Club holding month-long food drive for Bread & Broth 4 Kids

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The South Tahoe High School Key Club is holding a food drive until February 10. All food they collect will be donated to Bread & Broth 4 Kids for its weekend food backpack program.

Bins for the donations are placed at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center and the Tahoe Ice Arena, as well as room ST-3 and the front office at South Tahoe High School. The bins will be in place through February 10.

Bread & Broth 4 Kids is currently filling over 170 bags of food each week for South Lake Tahoe elementary students, and 40 bags for local preschool kids. Each bag contains three dinners, two lunches, two breakfasts and snacks so food insecure kids can have nutritious meals while away from the free lunch and breakfast programs while in school.
