St. Joseph Land Trust hosts free Financial Literacy Seminar

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Avoid money problems by learning the basics of money management, budgeting, saving, debt, investing, giving, and more during the St. Joseph Land Trust's next financial literacy seminar on February 8.

Financial literacy is rarely taught in school and this type of education is needed and will help community members avoid financial mistakes which may negatively affect them their whole lives.

Since the seminar will be led by Dr. Jon Kingsbury, professor of accounting and business at LTCC, and not through a partnership with a financial institution, there won't be a hidden agenda.

The seminar will be held at the South Lake Tahoe Libary's meeting room from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is free, but space is limited so RSVP at https://www.saintjosephclt.org/event-details/financial-literacy-seminar-1.
