Art exhibit at LTCC postponed

UPDATE: Due to the spread of Omicron in the South Lake Tahoe community, LTCC is postponing the public opening of the Faculty & Staff Art Exhibition. When it’s safe to welcome the community indoors to enjoy the show, a new date will be announced.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — A new art exhibition is opening to the public at Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) on January 20. This exhibition is free to explore both in person or virtually by visiting www.ltccartgallery.com. The art exhibit will be open through April 22.

The LTCC Faculty & Staff Art Exhibition at the Haldan Art Gallery inside the Roberta Mason library building will be featuring large-scale ceramic sculptures by Bryan Yerian and Grace Weber; 2D artworks by Cathy Caple, Miles Hall, Julia Schwadron Marianelli, and Frances Melhop; and photographs by Jim Grant, Amy Hackleman, Pat Leonard-Hefner, and David Mori.

Haldan Art Gallery hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., closed Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

The gallery is located in the library building. For more information about this exhibition and LTCC’s Art Department, please contact Bryan Yerian at Yerian@ltcc.edu.

Visitors to LTCC’s campus are asked to follow protocols to help reduce the spread of COVID. These protocols include wearing quality masks the entire time while indoors on campus (surgical, KN95, or N95s are required – free surgical masks are available upon request at the library main security desk), and downloading and using the #CampusClear app (Android and Apple).
