SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) held a promotion ceremony in council chambers Thursday, recognizing staff who have been promoted.
Officer Brian Hannink was promoted to patrol sergeant, Sergeant Jeff Roberson was promoted to lieutenant, and Sergeant Scott Crivelli moved to detective sergeant.
Sergeant Hannink joined SLTPD in 2011, moving up from the central valley where he previously worked at the Manteca Police Department. During Hannink’s time at SLTPD, he has served as a patrol officer, a detective, a member of the SWAT Team and the honor guard, and most recently as a field training officer, among other assignments and duties. Outside of work, Hannink enjoys reading, the outdoors, time with friends and family, and the occasional round of golf.
Lieutenant Roberson grew up in Southern California and went to the police academy in 1995. In 2003 he came to SLTPD with 7 years of police experience. During his time at SLTPD, Roberson has been a range instructor, a taser instructor, a field training officer, assigned to the SWAT team, and a detective. His new duties will be overseeing dispatch, records, community service, and detectives. Since COVID, Roberson finds himself in year two of remodeling his home. Other time is spent traveling.
Detective Sergeant Crivelli was promoted to sergeant in 2020. He grew up in Lodi, California, and moved to South Lake Tahoe to join the police department in 2009. Since then he has been on the SWAT team, a field training officer, a K9 officer, on patrol, a detective, and a sergeant.
