Montana's Kitchen Dwellers to bring its twist of bluegrass, folk, and rock to Lake Tahoe

Event Date:
February 15, 2023 - 8:00pm

The Kitchen Dwellers will be coming to Lake Tahoe to play at the Crystal Bay Club Casino Crown Room on Feb 15 at 8 p.m.

The quartet—Shawn Swain [Mandolin], Torrin Daniels [banjo], Joe Funk [upright bass], and Max Davies [acoustic guitar]—twist bluegrass, folk, and rock through a kaleidoscope of homegrown stories, rich mythology, American west wanderlust, and psychedelic hues.

"We are so excited to get back to one of our favorite corners of the

country," said the band. "Our band has a lot of history playing at Crystal Bay and this time we are lucky enough to be joined by the mega-talented
Lindsay Lou. This tour is already full of fun collaborations and
spontaneous moments and Tahoe is sure to receive the same treatment."

After amassing five million-plus streams, selling out shows, and receiving acclaim from Huffington Post, Relix, American Songwriter, Forbes, and more, the group brings audiences back to Big Sky Country on their third full-length album.

“The town of Wise River is basically a forgotten spot on the map,” Shawn says. “It used to be a thriving place with many prosperous mines, but now it’s practically dried up. There’s a hell of a lot of melancholy. In our mind, it symbolizes the overall feeling of being in slowed-down Montana life.”

The Crystal Bay Club is located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe at 14 NV-28, Crystal Bay, Nev. Tickets are $18 and available HERE. This is a show for those 21+. For more information on the Kitchen Dwellers, visit https://www.kitchendwellers.com/.
