SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The second of three quick storms is heading out of the Sierra Saturday, leaving behind a few more inches of snow. As of 9:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol is working on dispersing cars on US50 at Sierra-at-Tahoe with traffic backed up due to those attempting to pull into the resort. According to Sierra's website there will be reduced capacity today due to wind holds on some lifts and the resort closed the road at 8:45 a.m. If more lifts and terrain opens, their mountain capacity will increase, allowing more guests. There is a Lake Wind Advisory in place Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Winds will be from the west, 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected. Waves on the lake will be 2 to 5 feet.
